Our president explained that, as we were going to celebrate our 100^th Birthday in May, it had been decided that the January meeting was going to be the AGM.

Our usual business was conducted and the Christmas meal was reported to be a great success.  Five members of the Committee were then each allowed two minutes to speak about one of the resolutions to help everyone to decide which was the most deserving of support from our WI.  The winner of the subsequent vote was “the availability of internet access to everyone, making information accessible to all.“

The minutes of the 2021 AGM were unanimously approved as was the report of the year.  The Treasurer reported a difficult year financially, but the balance remained positive.  The officers and Committee were re-elected for 2022; all being willing to stand again.

A delicious supper of lasagne, salad and gateaux was served; all cooked by Committee members, for which we give many thanks.
