News and Events

Within Litton and Hinton Blewett WI, we have a varied group of members in terms of age and interests and therefore we provide a diverse selection of events.

Our annual programme contains a mix of educational events with speakers and social events in which both are enjoyable to participate. Click here to see our programme. We take it in turns to act as hostesses for the evening, providing a sumptuous light supper.

In addition to our monthly meetings, there are other activities and events in which members are encouraged to join. It provides us with the opportunity to meet new friends and have fun together. We offer extra social and educational events throughout the year, plus the opportunity to support and be involved in local and community events. Click here to see a list of events.

We have formed a variety of clubs for our members to enjoy

Diners' Club A group of members meet in a different local hostelry, each month, to sample the cuisine and enjoy convivial conversation.

Wine Club Each month, several of our members bring along different wines for us to sample at our meetings.

Walking Group A group of dedicated walkers meet regularly to explore the local countryside.

Skittles We meet up, with our husbands, partners and friends, to enjoy a game of skittles and a meal at a local hostelry.

Theatre Visits These are arranged regularly, taking advantage of nearby theatres at Bristol, Bath, Wells and Street, to enjoy both amateur and professional productions.
